Makeup Revolution - Blush Review :)

Hey guys. I have another Makeup Revolution review today. This is only going to be a quick post because i don't really have much to say about this product (in a good way that is haha) so lets just get into it :)

This is a review on the Makeup Revolution powder blush in the shade Now! When i was looking for a new blusher around 3-4 months ago i came across this in Superdrug and i absolutely loved the look of it. I thought that it was a very nice every day blusher that i can use and i was definitely right! This also only cost me £1, yes £1 i was so shocked, my first thought was that at that price surely it can't be good and boy was i wrong!

This blush is very pigmented and a little goes a long way! I apply this with a angled blush brush that i have in my collection and at first i thought it doesn't look that bight but i think i just put a little too much on. This is one of them products that you should build up rather than just putting it all on at once. What i do is put a little bit of product on my brush, blend it onto my cheek and if i need more i keep adding a little at a time until i am happy with it.  I literally used this everyday for around 3 month and i haven't even hit pan yet which i am so happy with!

So overall i think that this product is amazing and you literally can't go wrong with it and at the price it is at! I will be repurchasing this product when i run out but i still have a lot of product left. Below is a picture of what the product looks like and a little swatch of it too. If you are wanting to check this product out all you have to do is click here

Hope you enjoyed this post and if you have this product i would love to know what you think of it, let me know in the comments below :)

First Impression of Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation :)

Hey guys, today i have a first impression for you. It is going to be on the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation by Benefit Cosmetics.

I got this in the shade Ivory - Believe in me. I have always wanted to try this product but i never got round to buying it then one of my friends got it for my as a Christmas present. So i thought i would do a quick first impression on it as i have never used it before.

First off the product is a lot more liquefied than i thought it would be, i knew it was a liquid foundation but it was a lot runnier than i thought. So when it came to applying it the colour was the perfect match and that was my first worry because i just guessed the shade and i was right..thank god haha.

So when i was applying it to my face it felt really soft and it blended really well and the finish is really nice. I do use powder just to set my face but i don't think i really needed to with this foundation and i am really shocked that it actually lasted all day and didn't budge at all! All the foundations i use tend to come off after around 4 to 5 hours but this lasted all of Christmas day.

Overall i am very happy with this product and i can't wait to use it again. But because this is such an expensive product i am only going to be using it on special occasions and not everyday.  I am so happy that i have finally got this and i am thinking this is going to be my favorite foundation!

I hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading :)

What I Got For Christmas :)

Hey guys. So around Christmas time i love reading peoples post of them telling their readers what they received for Christmas. Seeing as i love reading the posts myself i thought i should write my own. I would like to just do a quick disclaimer, in no way am i bragging about what i have got, like i said i love these types of posts and i guess i'm just nosy and like to see what people got and i think that its a good idea to write something myself.  I am very grateful for all the presents that i received and i am soooo happy with them all. I aren't going to say who got what because that will make this post so long haha. So lets get into it :)

First off I got this little gift set, it wasn't actually a gift set but the person i got this from made her own little gift set for me. This is all by the Wilkos own brand called Fruits. In this she gave me a face mask, a little mixing bowl for the face mask to go in and that also came with a little brush and a spatula, and then some little bath pearls that you put under running water and they melt. I have already used the bath pearls and the ones i used smelled amazing!

Next i got these amazing pjs. These are seriously the softest and the warmest pjs i have ever owned. I wore these on Christmas night and they are seriously comfy!

Every year i always get a celebrity calendar and this year i got The Vamps. I absolutely love The Vamps and i am soooo happy that i have got this.

Next up i got this amazing soap and glory set. In this i got the clean on me shower gel, the hand food, the body scrub and a body butter. All of these smell fantastic and yes i have already used the products and they are amazing and the body butter makes my skin feel so soft and so does the hand food!

I then got the Body Shop's all in one Insta-Blur primer. I am so thankful for this because i have been wanting it for a while and it was also on my wish list and  i have also used this product already and it made my makeup last the whole of Christmas Day!

This next product that i got i bought for myself, i bought one for my sister and i thought well why not i'll get one for me too haha. This is the Garnier gift set that includes the Micellar water and the Miracle skin cream. Everyone has raved about the Micellar water so i thought i would try it out. This took my makeup off sooo quick and my face felt so clean after using it. I do not regret buying this for myself too and my sister was happy that i got her it too.

Next is the best present that i got and the most expensive one too! This is the Benefit Cosmetics gift set. On their website they do this little deal where you can choose 3 different products out of a list and then you also get a free product and a free makeup bag. I did chose all of the products that came within the gift package because my friend didn't want to get the wrong things so i picked the products myself.

The first one that i got was the Hello flawless oxygen wow foundation in the shade ivory-believe in me. I have never tried this foundation and i am so glad that i got this in the gift package. I tried this out on Christmas Day and i think that this maybe my new favorite foundation.

Another product for my face i got was the Hoola bronzer, I have seen so many people rave about this so i thought that i would get this in with the gift set and oh my days it is amazing! As you can tell by the brush i have used this and i seriously think i am in love haha.

Next up was a product for my eyes and i was stuck between the They're Real mascara and the They're Real push up liner. I ended up choosing the liner and i am yet to try this product but i'm sure i will be very happy with it just like all the other products.

The free product that i picked from the list was the benebalm and i have got to say this is so good! so moisturising and the colour is a really nice subtle red. Yes i also wore this on Christmas Day haha.

Lastly i got this but i got it on boxing day and it isn't really a Christmas present but my mum did pay half of it for me so i am going to class this as a late present haha. this is a bedding set and it is has the Eiffel tower on it. I love this sort of bedding, right now i have on city bedding and i wanted a new one and i love this!.

That is all the presents that i got, i also got bits of money but i think you all know what money looks like haha, and some Dr.Dr. Dre Beats earphones but i have kind of misplaced them so i couldn't take a picture...ooops I would also like to say thank you to all of the people that went out of their way to get me something special and i appreciate it so much!

I would love to see what you got for Christmas so if you have posted what you got leave a link in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this :)

I Heart Makeup - I Heart Definition Review :)

Hey guys, i have another review for you and yes you guessed it. It's another product from Makeup Revolution but this time it is from their I Heart Makeup line. Makeup Revolution are known for their cheap prices and good quality products. However their I Heart Makeup range is a little more expensive. Not too expensive where you feel you can't buy their products but they are expensive compared to the Makeup Revolution line.

So this time it is going to be on a product that i showed in my everyday makeup routine this is the I Heart Definition trio. This comes with a matte bronzer which is for contoring with, the middle shade is blush and the last one is a highlighter.

I got this trio in the lightest one they do as i am very pale. First i will tell you what i like about the product then i will tell you what i don't like about it. The bronzer is really pigmented.

The blusher i honestly cannot complain one bit about. This is one of them blushers that is really pigmented and you only need a little bit of the product. I apply this with a angled blush brush and i take a little bit of the product on the brush and blend it on my cheeks and if i need more i will add a little bit at a time until i am happy with it. I use this everyday and i honestly love it and it is the best one out of this trio and my most used.

The Highlighter is also very pigmented and i also just this in my everyday makeup. I apply a tiny bit on the top of my cheek bones with the same brush that i use the blusher on, i then blend it out until i am happy. Yet again i really cannot go wrong with this highlighter.

Now for the downside of this product...the bronzer. Im not too sure if it is because i am quite pale but this product is really dark and it doesn't seem to blend out at all and it just looks like a mucky line on the side of my face and i really don't like it. I have tried it with different brushes and i have tried to apply a little bit but i still have the same problem.

Overall i do think this is a great product...apart from the bronzer. But i do think that it does win me over with the blush and the highlighter. I probably will buy this product again for the blusher that it in it. If you want to check this product out then just click here.

Hope you found this review helpful. If you have this product i would love to know your opinions on it and i would like to know what you think about the bronzer, let me know in the comments below :)

Christmas Day Eye Makeup :)

Hey guys, today i will be showing you what eye makeup i am going to be wearing on Christmas Day. The picture that i have taken doesn't really do the look justice but i promise i looked good in person and this was the best picture that i had of the look. I use 2 different palettes for this look as well as eyeliner and mascara. I will be showing you all of the products i used for the look as well as telling you how i did this. Hope you enjoy :).

So first off, this is what the eye makeup looks like, on the lid it is a gold shadow that has a shimmer to it mixed in with a nice smokey eye and winged liner. When i have my eyes open fully it looks like an ordinary smokey eye but when i close them that's when you get too see the gold sparkle. I promise you it looks better in person and you can really see the smokey eye with the nice shimmer.

So first off i just primed my eyes, but because i don't actually have any eye primer i just use my wake me up concealer by Rimmel in the shade classic beige, i put this all over the lid, under my brow and under my eye, i then blend that out with a tapered kabuki brush.

Next i go in with my Makeup Revolution essential mattes palette. Yes this palette is well used and i have hit pan and i will be using the ones i have hit pan on...what a surprise haha. The first darker shade that i have hit pan on is the shade that i use to get started. I use this shade as my transition shade. I then go in with the medium brown (the second one in the picture below) I use this to define my crease and make it a little darker. After i am happy with how my crease looks i then use the dark brown in the picture below and i put this on my outer corner and just blend it into the crease. Because the middle of my eye is bare i then go in with the lightest colour and blend that in. I also used the medium brown shade under my eyes on my lash line.

After i am happy with how the smokey eye looks, it is then time for the gold! I used my new MUA Twelfth night winter shades palette, i used this because i wanted to try out the colours and see how they look and trust me, they are good!

So first off i went in with the top golden brown shade, this is just so that i have the pigment on there and it gives the eye that extra bit of gold. Once that is all blended in i use the other gold shadow which is a lot more glittery than the first one. I started to just pat that onto my lid, but then i decided to dampen my brush and then go back in with it. I am so happy that i did that because the application is much easier and it also looks a lot more pigmented and sparkly. Once the gold was on the lid i then used the middle silver shade...because why not? haha i sort of used this as a highlight and just to add a bit more sparkle.

Once i was happy with it after i blended it out i then went in with a nice light shimmer shade from the same palette. I used the first two shades from this palette as you can see in the picture. I mixed these both together and applied them to my inner corners and just a little under the eye and blended it out a little. I also added a tad of this to my brow bone just to make it stand out.

When i was happy with how my eye looked i then went in with my liquid eyeliner. I use the one by 2true, this product is only cheap and you can't go wrong with it.  First off i started with the wing, just to make sure that was right, when i was happy with it i drew a thin line along my top lash line and then connected it to the wing. When using this product or any other liquid eyeliner, be sure not to open your eye straight after application because it will transfer onto the lid as it will not be dry and yes i am speaking from experience haha.

As you will probably all know i do use a lot of mascara because i am not blessed with amazing lashes...unfortunately.  First off i use the pink one which is MUA's Mega volume, this is the one that i also apply to my bottom lashes because the brush is a lot thinner than the other ones and it is a lot easier to use for the bottom lashes. Next i go in with the middle black one which is the Makeup Revolution Amazing volume and i only apply that to the top lashes and lastly for the curl i use Makeup Revolutions Amazing Curl mascara. I think that all of these work great together, my lashes don't go all clumpy and it looks nice and it does stay curled.

I then clean up any of the fall out and go over with some concealer just to define the wing a bit and just to make it all nice and tidy. Then i finish off with completing my face makeup and then that is it.

I hope you like the look and i would also love to see what makeup looks you will be rocking on Christmas Day. As always feel free to leave a comment down below with your opinions :)

Makeup Revolution - Eyeliner Flick Thick & Thin Review :)

Hey guys, so today i have a quick review for you. I near enough always wear eyeliner and i thought i may as well try out a new one and recently i have been loving the brand Makeup Revolution. I swear by them because all of the products are cheap but they all are still amazing! Today is going to be a review on the Makeup Revolution - Eyeliner Flick Thick & Thin.

I got this around 2 months ago and it is now my go to eyeliner. It's just so easy to use and so good for winged eyeliner looks. It is double ended and one side is the thick end and the other is the thin end...do you get the name of it now? haha.

I think the application of this product is amazing, it goes on so smooth and easy, it is just like drawing with a pen. I use the thin end to create the wing and then the thicker end to fill it all in and draw the line that connects to the wing.

The only downfall of this product is that you have to be careful just like any other liquid eyeliner. The mistake i made when i first used this was that i drew the wing but i pressed down too hard and the bottom of the nib made a mark where i didn't want it to go. But with all eyeliners practice makes perfect right?

So overall i definitely love this product and once you know how to use it, it works wonders! I will certainly be repurchasing this as soon as it runs out. If you want to check out this product or any other products click here. If you live in the UK you can also go into your nearest superdrug store and pick any of their products up there...thats's what i do :)

Hope you enjoyed this post, i will be doing more makeup reviews so if you have any suggestions leave a comment below or get in touch via twitter @danielleomfg :)

Superdrug (drugstore) Haul :)

Hey guys! So today's post is going to be a haul from Superdrug. I seriously swear by Superdrug, i always get all of my makeup from here unless it is high end. I think Superdrug is perfect because of the free delivery if you spend £10 or more. So lets get started...

First of all i bought something i needed so bad! I didn't realise i had ran out of these the other day until i wanted to remove my makeup and it was a nightmare and i ended up using a makeup wipe which i don't particularly like. Yeah these are round cotton pads, i got the ones with 100 in the packet and i picked two up just so that i don't run out quickly and they were on offer. Click here to look these up and they are still on offer!

Next i got something that i mentioned in my last post which was my hair care routine and if you want to check that out click here. This is the 3 minute miracle Take the heat from Aussie. I only owned the colour protect one and i am in the process of fading my hair so i thought that it sort of defeats the object so i purchased this one instead, i also use the same shampoo and conditioner (the Take the Heat one.) To check this out click here this is also on offer!

I also got some more moisturiser. This is the Day Cream by B.Ready. I am really starting to like their products and the packaging is sooo nice for this i love it. It does have a bit of a weird smell to it but its only a slight smell so i don't think i will mind it too much. Yet again this is another product that is on offer so click here to have a look.

Now going on to the makeup, firstly i got a new foundation to try out. I am always buying different foundations just to see what they are like.  This is by Miss Sporty and it is the So Matte perfect stay and i got this is shade 02 light. I haven't tried this at all yet so i will let you guys know how i get on with it. yup again this is on offer haha click here to go to the website.

I only got one lip product this time. This is by I Heart Makeup and it is in the shade 'Heart Attack'. I think that it is very creamy and moisturising and it goes on really nice and i love the fact that it is in a heart shape. If you want to check this out click here.

Going on to eyes now, this is a gel eyeliner by MUA. I have never used gel eyeliner before so i am a little nervous to try this haha. This comes with a little detachable brush as you can see in the picture below. Click here to look this up.

Next is the first of two mascaras, if you have read my everyday makeup routine you will of seen this product mentioned in there. So yes this is a repurchase because i love this product so much that i have started to run out of it so i thought why not get it again. To check this out, click here.

The second mascara is one that i have not tried before, it is also by MUA and it is the Lash Boom, this states that it gives volume to your lashes as well as length. I haven't tried this yet so i will also let you know how i go with this. Again click here if you want to look it up.

Next is eyebrows, i am currently using two different shades of eye shadow from an MUA palette so i thought i may as well try a new product out. This is the I Heart Makeup Brow Kit (shade fairest of them all.) It comes with 3 different powders and a wax and also comes with some really cute little tweezers and a little brush. I haven't tried this out but i hope it will be amazing. If you want to see more details about this then click here.

This product i got for free, yes free. This is because MUA had a deal on where you spend over a certain amount on their products and you get a free eye shadow palette and i qualified for it, no surprise there then. This is the Twelfth night winter shades palette. When doing the swatches i sort of ran out of space that is why 11 and 12 are at the top haha. Number 7 is my favorite because it is really pigmented and it is really glittery and i think it is perfect for Christmas and i may have to do a eye look on this. If you spend over £8 on MUA then this will automatically get added to your basket. I don't think that you can purchase this on its own i'm afraid.

Right guys that is my haul over, i hope you like it. You can get in touch in the comments or tweet me @danielleomfg :)

Hair Care Routine :)

Hey guys, iv got my hair care routine for you this time, i do this every other day. This does start at washing my hair, i have only got pictures of the products as i am not going to take pictures of me in the shower haha...anyway lets get into it...

First before i jump in the shower to wash my hair i quickly brush through it to get out any tangles before i wash it. Then i use the Washing out liquid by Bleach London. You may have seen in my previous posts that i have pink hair, i am trying to fade it so i can re-dye it a different colour. So i am currently using this and i have got to say it does work! Obviously it is not going to wash it all out but it does speed up the fading process. I got this from boots click here to check it out.

Next i go in with Aussie's Take the heat shampoo. I do this because i feel like the washing out liquid makes my hair feel rough so i use this just to make it feel that little bit better. I got this from Superdrug and Aussie is near enough always on offer there. Click here to have a look.

Seeing as im using the Take the heat shampoo, i then follow with the same conditioner. I love this conditioner i feels super soft and nice and i leave this on for around 5 minuets just to let it soak into my hair. Click here to check it out.

Around once a week instead of the Take the heat conditioner i go in with 3 minuet miracle also by Aussie. Yeah i know, this sort of defeats the object with the fading of my hair colour but this is the only one i own until i get my superdrug order delivered but it is the Colour protect one. Click here to look it up. They also do little samples that are only 20ml and are only 99p so if your hair is in alright condition and you don't bleach it and you just want a one time treatment then it would be better to go for the 20ml one.

Once i have finished in the shower i towel dry my hair a little and then i use the Take the heat miracle recharge by Aussie. This is a leave in conditioner that also has heat protector in. I literally spray this all over my hair and then brush it through to make sure it is even. Click here this is the only one that i couldn't find in my superdrug so instead i nipped to Sainsburys and got it from there.

Seeing as i use a lot of heat on my hair i then go in with a heat protector from L'oeral Paris this is the Elnett satin one in straight. This protects your hair as well as keeping it straight for up to 3 days. I just spray this on the ends of my hair because i think that it can make my hair quite greasy if it goes on my roots. Once it is applied i then brush through my hair. Click here to take a look at this product.

As soon as all the products have been applied i then just blow dry my hair... If i can i normally just blow dry it a little and keep it damp and then go to bed but if i do it through the day then i will blow dry it completely. If i am going out somewhere then i will normally straighten my hair but if i am just going to work i will tie my hair up. I always try not to straighten it if i don't need to.

Even though i bleach my hair and dye my hair quite a lot, it is still in good condition, i don't know if that is because of the products i use or just the fact that i have healthy hair...i'm not too sure but i think that these products to help it out a lot.

That is my whole hair care. Hope you enjoyed it, as always get in touch with me in the comments or you can tweet me @danielleomfg :)

My Everyday Makeup Routine :)

Hey guys, yeah im back and this time i am going to be showing you all my everyday makeup routine. Please don't judge me without makeup haha...any way i better get started as this is going to be longggg. Hope you enjoy :)

So to get started i wash my face and then go in with my
moisturiser and my B.even Skintone corrector.  I apply this with my clean hands and just wait for 5 minuets until it all sinks into my skin.

As soon as the moisturiser has soaked in i go on to to two primers. I have got to say i do love my primer and i always wear it. I actually wear two different primers, don't ask me why though...as i don't actually know why...it just works haha.  The first one i use is the Rimmel Stay Matte primer. This is a really thick primer and i think that it fills everything in but it doesn't make my skin feel soft and i dont like the feel so i then go in with the Maybelline Baby skin  Instant fatigue blur in cool rose. After applying this my face feels super soft and ready for makeup.

After primer i then go in with concealer. I use the rimmle Wake me up concealer in 030 Classic Beige...this is a perfect match for my skin tone. What i do is put it in triangles under my eyes and then just apply it to any other discoloration/imperfections with my pointed foundation brush by Real Techniques. I'm not sure you will be able to see in it in the picture but i will put it up anyway.

Right after the concealer i apply my foundation. I use Rimmel's lasting finish 25 hour foundation in shade 103 true ivory. This is a bit lighter than my own skin tone but i find that it blends into my neck a lot better than beige. I apply this my dotting it all over my face and then using the Expert Face Brush by Real Techniques i buff it into my skin. I have put a picture below to show the difference after i have applied the foundation.
Once i have let my foundation sit for a little i apply some matte powder. This is because the foundation i use is very dewy and i prefer a matte complexion. I use Maybelline Matte Maker and i apply a little with the Powder brush by Real Techniques. My face feels so soft after using this powder and it doesn't feel cakey like some powders can.

Yes i am one for contouring...i swear by it! yeah this duo does look a bit used..well that's because it is..i use this literally every single day of my life. It is a matte bronzer and a creme highlighter this is by B.sculpted at superdrug. i apply this under my cheekbones, in my temples, on my forehead and down the sides of my nose all with the Contour brush by yup you guessed it Real Techniques.

Next i then use the I Heart Makeup definition trio, i don't actually use the bronzer in this as i find it too dark for me but i love the blusher and the highlighter. I apply the blusher on the apples of my cheeks and the highlighter on my cheekbones and a tiny bit on the bridge of my nose. I apply this with the Dirty Works angles blush brush i got from Sainsburys a while ago.

So that's my face makeup done, next is the eyes. I cannot live without pencil eyeliner. with every look i do i always make sure i have it on my waterline and my tight-line. I always use the 2true black pencil liner. It is so cheap and it is such an amazing product.

After lining my eyes with the pencil liner i then use a shimmer bronzer by Makeup Revolution. I run a bit of this through my crease just to add a bit pf definition to my eyes. I do this with a base shadow brush by Real Techniques.

Next is mascara...i use 3 different mascaras 2 of them are for volume and the other is to help curl my lashes. I am not blessed with long curled lashes so i build up my mascara. First i use a Lash curler from primark, it was so cheap i couldn't say no and it works really well..next i go in with the MUA Mega volume mascara (the pink one). After i use the Amazing volume by Makeup Revolution (the thick black one) then i go in with the Amazing Curl by makeup revolution (the only other one ;) ).

Once my mascara is complete i then finish off the eyes with my eyebrows. I use 2 different colours out of the Matte Essentials palette by Makeup revolution, yes i have hit pan on this..(cries) as you can see in the picture i use the lightest brown and the medium brown. I use this with the brow brush by Real Techniques and use just a cheap eyebrow brush from Superdrug to brush through them. (Don't mind the brows, a trip to Benefit's Brow Bar is in need!!)

Last but not least of my makeup is the lips. i then just run a bit of Makeup Revolutions lipstick in the shade Flashing and put a bit of shade 'Dazzle' on the corners of my lips.

That is it my Everyday makeup routine... if you want to know where any of the products are from just ask in the comments below. Get in touch with your opinions and i would love to see your everyday makeup routine so link it in the comments :)

Thanks for reading and i hope you like it. As always you can contact me either in the comments or hit me up on twitter @danielleomfg
