Foundation Friday

Hey lovely,
As you guys know, its Friday which means there's another foundation review for you all. This week i am going to be reviewing the L'oreal Infallible 24hr. I have mine in the shade 120 Vanilla. I have reviewed the L'oreal True Match before you can check that out here . Right lets just get into the review shall we?

So there is three different infallible foundations by L'oreal, the  normal one, the matte one and the Sculpt one. The one i am going to be reviewing today is the normal one.
We will start off with the colour of this one. For me it is still a little too dark but its not too bad, i just have to set it with a lighter powder for me to be able to wear it properly. Also with the colour of this i think it has more yellow undertones rather than pink and that's why i think it looks dark on my skin tone. The finish of this foundation is quite dewy but not sticky where you can feel it on your face. Now for coverage, I would say it is a medium coverage foundation, it does even out the skin tone but it doesn't cover blemishes much. And as for the 24 hour lasting, i can't say i have worn this for over 11 hours, but in them 11 hours it started to break down after around 8-9 hours of wearing. It started to go patchy around my T-zone.

Overall with this product i do think it is a nice foundation but it isn't my go to foundation because of the shade that i have. I do really like the packaging and it is brilliant that it comes with a pump, and i like the fact that it blends easy too. I would recommend this product to people who have yellow undertones to their skin as it would suit them better.

Please let me know what you think of this product in the comments :)
Thanks for reading this weeks edition of Foundation Friday, see you next week for more..hopefully haha.

Review of Bblonde Colour Toner

Hey guys,
I'm back to what i am used to writing about, a good review about a hair product! I haven't being doing much with my hair lately as it is in bad condition and im trying to grow it back out and let my own hair come through and not messing with that. But i got sent this product quite a while ago and it has been sat there on my drawer staring at me everyday waiting for me to use it and let you guys know what it is like.

So a bit of a background on me and my hair if you are new to my blog. Welcome by the way haha. I used to have really long hair before i started bleaching and dying it a lot, all different random colours! But then it started to just break off every time i brushed it so i had it cut short and i am trying to grow it out. I hated it short so i ended up dying it a bright blue colour which i will show you below. Then that started to fade out and i just left it to do its own thing. It faded to white blonde with tints of blue/green but it also had some purple left near to where the regrowth is.

Anyways, I thought i would bring this product to use. Now over the emails with Rebecca that works for Bblonde  http://www.jeromerussell.co.uk/bblonde She asked me if i would like to review one of their products, i had a browse on their site which is linked above and i saw they had a 'new' range of maximum colour toners. Now to me these looked brilliant but i didn't want to put any harsh chemicals on my hair so after talking to her about the product she told me that they don't contain any ammonia or peroxide which is great, it wont harm my hair as much as other products would. So i agreed with her that i would try the product out and i chose the aqua one which wasn't released at the time.

When i received the product i saw how small the bottle was and my first thought was no way is that going to cover all of my hair even at the short length it is. So i read the instructions and it told me to wash and towel dry my hair but not to use conditioner, this i followed and then i applied it to the ends of my hair (like i said i don't want to apply anything on my regrowth) It then says after it is applied put it in a plastic hood and apply heat with a hairdryer for 5 mins and then leave it to process up to 30 mins. I applied the heat for a couple of minuets and then left it to process, adding up to 10 mins and i couldn't be bothered waiting any longer as i am really impatient haha. I then washed it off and dried it. The colour is great to say i only left it on for 10 mins! My hair also doesn't feel dry or damaged. If you dye your hair yourself you will know the smell of dye takes ages to get rid of but this didn't smell at all!

These are the before and after pictures

Go check out their website out it is linked above or just search Bblonde. They have a lot more products to choose from!

Day out at Lotherton Hall

                     Hey everyone :)
Today i am going to telling you about a day out i had a few days ago. So it was my day off and we had my niece Lexie for the day as it was school holidays and her mum was at work. We decided to have a day out but we didn't know where to go, then my mum thought about Lotherton Hall in Aberford, now i had been here as a kid and enjoyed it but it's been years, plus Lexie has never been so that was our choice.

It isn't that far from our house so we went to pick my grandma up and then off we went, the weather wasn't bad but it wasn't as nice as bank holiday Monday and it was cold! (by the way we went on the Tuesday after bank holiday)

You do have to pay to get into the grounds but it doesn't cost much and there is a lot you can do there. We decided to go into the bird garden first which was full of different kinds of birds to look at including owls, flamingos, condors and many more. Lexie loved looking at them all and spotting them out, she was really excited and had a lot of fun, i have a few pictures here.

After we went into the house, it is an historic house with a lot of rooms, they also had a little craft room for the kids to play a little. After we had a walk around the house we went out into the gardens to walk around there and do one of the trails where you had to find items on a list and tick them off. But unfortunately it started to rain a lot so we headed out to the cafe to get a nice hot chocolate to warm us up.

In the cafe we decided to do a few face swaps on snapchat which Lexie also enjoyed seeing. When our hot chocolates were all gone we went into the gift shop and i bought Lexie a little magnate for her fridge which had a lovely picture of the house on and then we also got a little rubber for her pencil case.

We all had a lovely time together even though it ended up raining!
If you have any places you have visited that are similar to this please let me know i would love to read about it!
Thanks for reading :)

May Favorites

Hey guys, i know its late but this is my favorites for the month of May. Now i know i said i was going to do these every month but i have realised they don't change that much and i don't have enough to write a post about. But this month is different, i have a few things that i have changed about a little. Not all of these are beauty related and i'm going to be throwing 2 Youtube channels in here too, so lets start with them!

The first Youtube channel that i have been loving is Anna Saccone, now i love the Sacconejolys but i love Anna's own channel a lot more, I love all of the videos that she posts and i also love her as a person! Her Snapchat rants about people that leave horrible comments are hilarious because she can be so sarcastic ahah! you should check out her channel here.

The other Youtube channel is one that i have mentioned in another post i did which was about working out at home. I love Lucy's channel because she has quick workouts that only take around 5 minuets to do and she keeps you motivated and she helps you stick to it! I find it hard to workout all the time but she regularly posts workouts which means you have something to follow along with. If you're into fitness or trying to get into working out more you should look her channel up i will link it here.

Whilst we are on the subject of fitness, i have been going to the gym twice a week with my mum and sister, and i have been loving 2 of the sports bars that i got from Missguided. Not only do the look amazing but they still support you and they make me feel comfortable when i'm working out.

Now onto makeup. I don't know why but i have never mentioned this product in any of my favorites. It is a product that i use every time i apply makeup and that is the blending sponge by the company B. This is just like the Beauty Blender but cheaper, and in my opinion it is better than the original Beauty Blender. It is easy to wash and keep clean and it blends makeup out flawlessly. I think you can only get this from Superdrug though. But that doesn't make a difference to me as i am always either going on their website or looking in one of their stores.

Another makeup product that i have been loving is the Freedom brow pomade. Now i used to just fill them in with a pencil or the Anastasia Brow Wiz. But i was going to buy the dip brow pomade by Anastasia but i thought well i will try a cheaper one out first and i found this one. It is brilliant, it is so easy to make your brows look natural but a lot fuller. I definitely recommend this product!

Nothing else makeup wise is different, i have mentioned all of the products in previous favorites. But something i haven't mentioned is a new shirt that i bought from New Look. Now i am trying to wear more 'grown up' things rather than my unicorn and Disney t-shirts. So i bought this burgundy long sleeve shirt and i haven't taken it off since i bought it! Everywhere i go i end up going straight to this shirt to wear. I always pair it with some high waisted blue skinny jeans which are also from New Look.

That's probably about it for my favorites this month, i know there isnt much but they are all different things that i have been doing and i have not mentioned these ones before :)
Hope you enjoyed this post and please link your favorites in the comments so that i can check them out!
