Foundation Friday

Hey guys this weeks foundation review is another drugstore product and this one is the NYC All Day Long smooth skin foundation. I bought this quite a while ago and my skin colour has now changed as this product i got in the shade soft beige and i am now normally wearing ivory shades. 

So they do state that it lasts up to 14 hours which i don't really agree with, i had this on for around 3 hours maximum and it was starting to go patchy im not too sure why it might just be my skin as i have dry skin and it might last longer for you. But for me it didn't last as long as i would of liked it to. They don't say what type of coverage it is but in my opinion i would say it is a light to medium coverage as i have just tried it again and i have a couple of blemishes and it didn't cover them much at all. The shade is not too bad, i could get away with wearing this with a lighter powder over it so it blends better with my natural skin. The product does blend easily and it kind of dries a little bit matte but i would defiantly have to use a powder rather than setting spray over this one as it does feel a little sticky in some areas. I will insert a picture below to show you the difference of my skin, one with nothing on not even primer and the other one with just this foundation applied with a beauty blender.

I apologise about the quality and lighting of the pictures i took the first one in natural light and in the space of like 3 minuets it went dark outside! But you can see it does give a bit of coverage but i think that it is the shade of th product that makes it look like more of a fuller coverage. In person you can see the blemishes a lot more than what you can in the picture. But overall if you are only wearing this for a couple of hours and after a light coverage i think it is a really good product!
