Makeup Revolution Haul :)

Hey guys, sorry i have only been posting reviews, they are the posts that i have pre-written. I haven't been well and i'm still not well but i'm getting there so i thought i would write this because i have nothing else to do today and i think iv slept way too much haha. Iv currently got tonsillitis yet again, what feels like a chest infection and also got conjunctivitis and honestly i feel like death haha. 

So lets get into it, today i have a Makeup Revolution haul for you all, i was on their website around a week ago and i thought why not? so i spent around £35 on there but i got a lot for my money! I would also just like to say, i am not sponsored by Makeup Revolution, i honestly just love all of their products and i haven't got one bad word to say about them.  

So this is an overview of all of the products that i purchased. I will show you each product on its own too. So overall i got two palettes, seven lipsticks, once nail varnish, a brow product, a concealer, eye primer and a brush product.

First of is the Pro Hygiene Anti-bacterial brush shampoo, first thing i did when i got this was smell it and it does smell nice haha. I have used it and it washed my brushes a lot better than the baby shampoo that i used to use. 

Next is the Nail varnish that i got in the shade take me. On the picture i have applied two coats. This is a really nice colour and it also goes on the nail really well, when it came to taking it off i was a bit worried as i didn't put on a base coat but it came off straight away and it didn't stain like some polishes do.

Next got a brow product which is called brow dual ultra brow arch and shape, i got this in the lightest one they do which is in fair. This is double ended and one side it is a pencil like applicator and the other is like a really thin felt tip. I haven't used this product yet but it looks like the colour will be good for me.

Next i got liquid concealer in the shade natural. Again i haven't tried this yet but im sure it will be good :)

Now i will start on the lip products...this may take a while seeing as there is seven. So first off is the I Heart Makeup Lip Geek (all of the ones in the pink packaging as seen below are the lip geek ones) So this one is in the shade Cherry Bomb, it is a really nice red shade. All of the Lip Geek products are very moisturising and they last at least 3 hours (depending on what you are doing haha)

Next up is the shade Candy Rock which is a nice bright light pink colour.

Next i got the shade Barbie is Jealous which is a really bight pink going to a red colour if you know what i mean haha.

Then the last of the Lip Geeks is this one which is shade Baby Doll, this is more of a nude pink colour

So next of the lip prodcuts are the Makeup Revolution amazing lipsticks and one of their atomic lipsticks. First up is the amazing lipstick in Cheer, this is a really light pink and it also has bits of glitter in it aswell.

The other amazing lipstick is in Flashing, i didn't realise but i do already have this colour but it looked different on the website so i bought it and when i opened it i realised it was the same..oops oh well haha. This is a really nice pink colour and it isn't too bright either.

The last of the lip products is the Atomic Lipstick in the shade Make it Right. This is a nice deep purple colour which i absolutely love! 

So that is it for the lip products now onto eyes. First off i got the focus and fix eye primer in original, i haven't tried this yet but i know it will be good haha.

Thats the primer for the eyes next is the eye shadow and you do not realise how excited i was to get this palette, it is the Mermaids VS Unicorns palette and oh my i think i am in love haha. I mean come on look at the colours in that haha. All of the colours are very pigmented and i can't wait to use this. Once i am better i may do a makeup look using this palette. 

Last but not least is the Blush Palette in golden sugar. I have been wanting this for ages and every time i went into my local Superdrug it was always out of stock and i used to go in at least once a week but they never had it and this palette is the reason behind this big shop that i did. Because i couldn't get it in store i ended up getting it online and all of the other products just made their way into the basket ;) haha. I love all of the colours in here, there are some blushers and some bronzers then a contour shade (the last matte bronzer) i think this contour shade maybe too dark for my skin tone but oh well haha.

I Heart Makeup - Brows Kit Review :)

Hey guys, so i have another review today and this is the Brow Kit by I Heart Makeup. I Heart Makeup is a cheap line of makeup that is owned by the brand Makeup Revolution. I seriously love all of their products as you can tell by all of the other reviews i have done haha. So lets get into it :)

First of this product comes with 3 different shades of powder for the eyebrows, light, medium and dark and it also comes with a wax too (the white one.) The kit also includes a little brush to apply the product and some little tweezers.

I do really like this product, i use the wax and the powder at the same time. So what i do is pick some of the wax up on the brush that is provided and then put some of the darker colour on the brush and just outline my brows with this and also fill the end of my brow in then i take more wax and the medium colour and fill the start of my brows in with that.

I think this product works really well. It is also very easy to use! I did try use the tweezers but they wouldn't actually grab any hairs which wasn't really good but they do look cute haha. 

Overall i do really like this product and i do use it everyday now instead of using the essential mattes eye shadow palette by Makeup Revolution. I will be repurchasing this when i run out but i think it will be a quite long time before i run out. If you want to check this product out just click here.

Another Drugstore Haul :)

Hey guys, i got a few products from Superdrug in the January sale so i thought i would do a little haul to show you what i got :)

Firstly i got this Studio gift set. It comes with 6 different brushes, a little mirror, 3 nail files and a little case to put it all in. There are 2 face brushes, 3 eye brushes and a eyebrow comb. I only really got this because of how cheap it actually was haha. I don't need any of the brushes but for the price that it was down to, i couldn't say no. 

Next i got this Awesome pout and gloss collection by Makeup Revolution. This comes with 3 lip crayons, a gloss and a compact mirror. The crayons are soo creamy and really nice and pigmented and there is a pink, red and a nude colour. I am quite happy with this set that i got :)

Lastly was the cheapest product that i got and i am so happy that i found this, this was the last one in stock and i think it was down from around £12 to £1.99, so i had to get it! This is the Big Smoke by Studio and it has 5 different eye shadows, a eyeliner and a mascara and a little application brush. These colours are really pigmented and i think that 2 of them are cream shadows and the other are powder. I can't wait to use this and do a really nice smokey eye!!

That's it guys, sorry its short i just wanted to show you the things i got in the sale, i also got a big Soap and Glory set but i have sort of near enough used all of the products that came in it and i didn't take any pictures...oops.

Changing My Hair :)

Hey guys, today i have quite a different post for you. So basically i wanted to change my hair colour seeing as i have had pink hair for quite a long time so i wanted something different. I will include some pictures of before and after and also some pictures whilst i was in the process of doing my hair. I just want to apologise for the posts that i have done this past week, i have had a lot of overtime at work because of the holidays and i haven't had any time to write posts so i have been uploading pre-written posts (reviews). Hopefully i will start getting more time to write better posts :)

So first off i started like this -

As i wanted to go a light purple colour and i had bright pink hair i had to bleach my hair first. I used the Total Bleach by Bleach London.  I applied this all over my hair starting at the back and working my way through. I did have a bit of a dilemma when i was bleaching my hair because i actually ran out of bleach with around 1/4 of my hair left to do so my mum ended up running to boots for me haha..thanks mum. 

Once the bleach was on i left it for around 30 - 40 minuets and then washed it all of with warm water and applied the conditioner that comes within the kit. After it was all washed off i then went in with the White Toner also by Bleach London. I used this to take all the yellow tones out of my hair, you will be able to see it in the picture above.

After i applied this i left it on around 25 minuets and then washed it off. Next i mixed up my colour that i wanted to go, i used Crazy Color in Lavender and a little of the Lilac colour i had left over and a little of white conditioner just to dilute it. you can see what colour it ended up when i mixed it below. I only used two bottles of lavender and half a bottle of lilac.

 I applied this everywhere and left it on for around 45 minuets and then washed it off and conditioned my hair. I did have another problem with doing my hair. The dye didn't take to the roots on the top of my head and it just ended up a silver colour but i couldn't re-do it as it was new years eve and i had to be at a party within the next hour so i just left it. The next day i redyed it using the 2 bottles of left over lavender colour and a bit of conditioner and applied it to my hair again and i left it on for just over an hour. Again the rest of my hair took perfectly but the roots on my head didn't but the dye did tint it a bit so it wasn't as bad as before. 

You cant actually tell on these pictures that the roots are lighter because i dye my hair when it is in a middle parting and then when i bring my fringe over you can only see the purple. 

(sorry about the picture on the right, its the only picture i have with my hair done and it was taken after a night out...oops)

First Impression - The Body Shop Insta-Blur :)

Hey guys, so as you can tell by the title i will be doing a first impression on The Body Shop's Insta-Blur primer. I got this at Christmas and i have never used it before so i thought i would do a quick first impressions for you.

First off the consistency, it is so hard to describe the consistency of this product, it is sort of like a gel. So i used this on Christmas Day and my makeup lasted all day, i dont know if that was the primer or the new foundation i used but both are amazing. 

So when i rubbed this into my skin i felt amazing, like some primers i have used make my skin feel quite sticky or clogged up but this seems to sink into the skin and it feels super soft after. I have used this with my normal foundation that i use and the foundation seemed to blend out and sit on the skin a lot better than it normally does with a different primer. 

My first impression of this was amazing, the fact that my makeup didn't budge all day and my skin felt super soft after using it. I think this is going to creep its way into my everyday makeup routine haha.  So overall i do really like this product and i just want to see if it will make my everyday foundation last longer than normal!
