Danielle Nicole : Valentine's Day Makeup Look

Hey everyone, seeing as it is Valentine's Day this week i thought i would do a quick makeup look that i would be wearing if i had a date haha single life it is also working life!! So this is this look i am going to be showing you guys and i will tell you what products i used throughout the post, enjoy :)

So to prep my face i used a mixture of two products, porefessional by benefit and the body shops skin primer moisturise it. The porefessional sometimes makes my skin feel a bit dry so i mixed in the body shop one and it made the perfect start for my makeup look.

So after i had primed i went in with a mixture of two foundations, Rimmel's Wake me up and Rimmel's Sat Matte. I used these two because stay matte is a little drying for my skin and a bit too matte so mixing wake me up gave me that glow i needed. I put a little bit of product over my face and blended it out with a damp beauty blender.

For concealer i used Collections Lasting perfection concealer and i used this under my eyes and as a highlight too just over my cheekbones and i blended this out with my beauty blender again. I then set it with a small powder brush and a bit of Matte Maker by Maybelline, i didn't use too much of this as it can look cakey.

I then went onto contour, for this i first used NYX wonder stick and blended this out with my beauty blender and then over the top to set it a bit i used a fan brush and dusted a bit of Hoola bronzer by Benefit over the top of the cream contour.

For blush i then used Rockateur also by Benefit, this is because it gives a really nice highlight over the cheekbones and i just blended this out with a fluffy brush.

For my eyebrows i just used a pencil by makeup revoultion and then one of their matte eyeshadows over the top. For eyes i first lined my tightline with 2Trues pencil black eyeliner.

I then used Makeup Revolutions ultra eye shadows palette in flawless matte. I used a light cream colour all over my lid to my brow bone just to neutralise it all for the other shadows and also so the others blend better. I then used a light orange toned brown as a transition shade and blended this out with a fluffy brush, then taking a deeper brown i put this in my crease and then blended this out but not as much and then i went in with a dark grey/black colour just to give more definition. Over the lid i then put on a white shimmer shade also from a Makeup Revolution palette but this time it is their dia de los muertos salvation palette. i also blended this out a little then over the top i took a shimmery pink shade from the same palette and applied it to my lid and also under my eye. For eyeliner i used Makeup Revolutions double flick liner. I then used Benefits Rollalash mascara as i hate wearing fake lashes and this is as close as im going to get to them.

For my lips i used a barry m liner that im not sure of the shade but its a brownish colour and then over the top i used Urban Decay's super-saturated high gloss lip colour in apocalypse. Then in the center of my lips i used a light pink shade just to make my lips look fuller.
