Foundation Friday

Hey guys, so i am going to be reviewing all of the foundations that i own and i am going to start with the one that i used to used everyday for around two years. As will be uploading one foundation review per week every Friday actually so lets call this mmm Foundation Friday. I have 15 foundations in total to review as i have already reviewed the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation and you can go to that by clicking here. The foundation that i am going to be reviewing today is by Rimmel and it is their Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation.

I have repurchased this product sooo many times over the past couple of years and i use the shade 100 ivory. I have mentioned this product a few times here on my blog but i think these were quite some time ago.

So first off i am going to tell you everything it says on the bottle. So Rimmel claim that this foundation lasts 25 hours, now personally i have never worn it for that long so i cant comment on whether it is true or not. They also say that it contains an SPF of 20 which is really good for a foundation. On the back of the packaging it says 'full coverage foundation enriched with a comfort serum. instant perfect coverage that feels extra comfortable and lasts all day. Sweat, heat humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours. Coverage that won't let you down.'

Now for my opinion on the foundation. 

I agree with the fact that it is full coverage. A little bit of product goes a long way and it is also build-able without looking cakey, it also blends really well i used to use it with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush but not i would use it with a beauty blender just because i like the finish a lot more and it looks a little more natural. Now i think when it is first applied it is very sticky and i always have to use a powder to set it rather than a setting spray just because it still doesn't dry properly and it is sticky. They also have a lot of shades for you to choose from and obviously i am the lightest one they do haha, but it really does match my skin tone.
