Hey everyone, So carrying on with the foundation reviews that i do every Friday. This week i am going to be reviewing Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation. I have a few Rimmel foundations and the others that i have tried i have loved and now for my opinion on this one.
Starting off with the first look of the product, the packaging is so simple but so sleek, i really do like the bottle that it comes in and also the pump that it comes with, On the front of the bottle it says the name of the product 'wake me up' under that it states that it is an anti-fatigue foundation and that it is skin brightening with vitamin C. On the back of the packaging it says 'our first foundation that visibly reawakens and illuminates skin with a radiant glow and a flawless, natural-looking finish. Instant anti-fatigue effect. With peptides and a vitamin moisturising complex.'
I have the shade 100 Ivory which i am always the lightest shade in the Rimmel foundations. The consistency of this product is a liquid foundation but the product is quite thick and not runny like some other foundations that i have tried. The product blends really nice and the finish is glowing but it isn't sticky like the Lasting Finish foundation this dries kind of like powder but still with a glow and it doesn't give that matte look to the skin. A little bit of this does go a long way and i would say that it is a medium coverage. To me, i can't feel this on my skin when i wear it, some foundations feel really thick on the skin but this one sits nicely and looks so natural.
