January Favorites

Hey everyone so last year looking at my posts i hardly did any monthly favorites so this year i am going to try do them every month. So lets start with January, i have 10 products to show you, one skincare and the rest is all makeup. 

So lets start with the one skincare product. This is the Vitamin E refreshing toning mist by Superdrug. I have had this a while but i never used to use it and this month i have been reaching for it a lot more, every day actually. It helps to keep my horrible dry skin hydrated and i have seen a different when using this. Even though i have been using this everyday in January, hardly any of the product has gone as you only need to spray it on the skin a couple of times each morning. 

Now for makeup, lets start with base products. First up is a product i have had ages and i love this product and it makes my makeup stay in place all day and it is the Porefessional primer by Benefit. This makes my skin so smooth before putting makeup on and it makes it easier to blend my foundation, if you haven't tried it you seriously need to!

Next up is a foundation that i did a review on not so long ago and it is the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. This is such a nice foundation it blends really well and i would say it is a medium coverage. If you want more of an in-depth review i will link it here. 

Another foundation that i have had since June last year is the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation. I got this when i went on holiday to Florida as i didn't want to pay for shipping, it is god damn expensive! This is probably the most expensive makeup item that i have and i don't wear it as much but In January i have been wearing it a lot more just because i love the look and feel of it on my skin. It is a full coverage foundation and it blends amazingly, i apply mine with a damp Beauty Blender. I absolutely adore this product.

I have also been getting into using setting sprays rather than powder and i love this one it is the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix setting spray and it just makes your makeup last all day and i always thought that it might make my makeup go patchy and horrible but it didn't it gave it a nice dewy look.

Contour! I can't do my makeup without contouring, it just doesn't look right and i look ill if i don't do it. The product i have been reaching for this month is the Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. This is just the perfect shade for me and a little goes a long way. It is just perfect!

When i used to contour i never used to use highlighter and now i can't not use it! I have only got into highlighting this past month and my skin looks so much healthier when i do highlight. The one i use is by Makeup Revolution and it is called Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights. This is gorgeous and looks really nice with Hoola too.

So this month i haven't been doing much eye makeup i have just been doing more natural looks and the eye shadow palette i have been using is the Naked 3 by Urban Decay. Now i have always loved this palette and you can do some amazing smokey eyes with this but the main colours i have been using are Limit, Nooner and Dust. They look amazing together too!

This mascara i have always used like every day of every month but i don't think i have ever mentioned it and if i have it must of been ages ago but it is by MUA and it is their mega volume mascara. I hate when eyelashes look really clumpy and horrible and this mascara looks so nice and natural and no matter how much you put on it never goes clumpy and it is gorgeous.

Last up is eyebrows, I also bought this product when i went to Florida and i didn't use it much at first but this month i have reached for it a lot more and it is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, This just gives such a natural look and it doesn't look like your eyebrows have been filled in. I love it but again bit on the pricey side!
