Hey guys, today i have a bit of a different post for you. This is my go to makeup look for a night out or a special occasion. I have only done one half of my face to just show you the look and the difference between the makeup look and my natural self. Hope you enjoy :)
I went for more of a full coverage and i want this to last as long as possible. So first off i prepped my skin using a light moisturiser by Simple and just letting that soak in for a bit. Then i go in with my primer which is the Rimmle Stay Matte primer. This is a thick white primer that covers pores and evens everything out and makes your skin soft and ready for your base products.
After i used the primer i went in with concealer i used two concealers and mixed them together to get the perfect colour for my skin right now. The first one i used was the Collection lasting perfection concealer in warm medium 3 and the second one is the Rimmel wake me up concealer in 30 classic beige. I applied this under my eyes, around my nose, a bit on my forehead and cheeks and a little on my chin. I then used a pointed buffing brush i think it is called to work it into my skin.
Once I had finished my concealer i went in and mixed up two different foundations. Both of the foundations give of a matte finish which is what love. I used two again to mix together and make a more suitable colour. The foundations that i used are Barry M Flawless Matte Finish foundation in the shade nude and the second one i used was the Miss Sporty So matte perfect stay in the shade 002 light. I used a flat foundation brush to apply this because i wanted as much coverage as possible.

When my foundation was done i then set it with Maybelline's Matte Maker powder in the shade 20 nude beige. I used this with a complexion sponge for under my eyes and then used the powder brush from Real Techniques to set all my foundation.
After my base makeup is set i then go in and contour. I used the B.Sculpted duo which comes with a highlighter and a bronzer. I only use the bronzer in this though. So first off i used the brush that came with the Benefit Hoola bronzer because of the shape of it, i then took some product and placed it underneath my cheek bone to make the shadow and i made a sharp line. I then took my clean Contour brush from Real Techniques to blend it out and once it's blended i then took some product on that brush and lightly applied it on my forehead and my temples and the sides of my nose.
I use a trio to do my highlighting and it also had the blush in that i use. This is the I Heart Definition trio and i just used a angled blush brush to apply the highlighter to my cheek bones and then used the same brush to apply the blush to the apples of my cheeks and blend it onto my cheek bones to connect with the highlighter.
That is then my face makeup complete next i move to my brows. I use Makeup Revolutions Ultra brow arch and shape duo in the lightest shade. First i use the pencil side to fill in my brows and then use the felt tip side to shape them and give them more of a defined look and i also lightly use this side to fill in anywhere where the pencil didn't fill in.
That's my brows done next is the eye makeup! I start off by priming my eyes with the Makeup Revolution focus and fix eye primer. I put this all over my lid and blend in using my ring finger.
Next i used one of the shadows from the MUA heaven and earth palette and i used the shade aurara which is the top white shade and applied this with the base shadow brush my Real Techniques and i applied it all over my mobile lid.
I then went in with my Makeup Revolution Redemption palette the essential mattes one. I used the 7th shadow across from the left and used this as a transition shade. I then applied the 5th shade to my crease and blended it out and then darkened it with the 6th shadow and then again darkened it with the 8th shadow. I then used the 10th shadow which is a black colour in the outer corner of my eye to create the smoky eye and i also applied a mix between the 8th and 10th shadow under my eyes close to the lash line.
I then took the Makeup Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns palette. i used the last right colour which is a darker black to darken the black on my corner of my eye and i also added a little of this in the corner of my eye and underneath my eye. Then i took the 9th shadow which is a purple and applied it to my mobile lid and also in the center of my bottom lashline. i then went over it with a grey coloured shadow that i have.
I then blended it all out and also the bottom i blended too. Then i decided to go back in with the shade aurara from the MUA palette in the centre of my mobile lid and also in the inner corner of my eye it brighten it up. After the eye shadow is complete i then went in with eyeliner. First i used the Makeup Revolution awesome double flick liquid liner and created a wing eyeliner.
Because the colour isnt that dark on this eyeliner i then went in with the 2true liquid eyeliner and went over the line and sharpened the line a little. I then used 2true pencil liner and used this on my waterline and my tightline. I can't find a picture of the pencil liner but we all know what one looks like right?
I then applied 3 different mascaras. On my top lashes i used the Makeup Revolution amazing volume mascara and then over the top of that i used the Amazing curve also by Makeup Revolution. On my bottom lashes i used MUA Mega volume mascara.

I then go for my lips, i use the I Heart Makeup Lip geek lipstick in the shade i worked for it.
And that is all the makeup applied and this is the finished look (well half) Please don't mind my hair it is sort of doing its own thing haha.
I hope you enjoyed this post and i hope you stayed until the end haha i know it was quite long and i apologise for that haha. I would love to know what you think about this look so please comment below and be honest...if you don't like it tell me what you don't like about it and it might help me in the future haha.
